second class prize of science & technology progress award of CAS in 1994
It is first one of thin mirror active optics in China which cost four years (from 1990-1994) to set up。It has primary mirror with aperture of 500mm and thickness of 6mm。Accuracy of wavefront correction for the experimental system can reach 0.04μm(RMS)。Its success lay down an important foundation for mega-science project-LAMOST。
