Mini Array Telescope for "sitian” project undertaken by Nanjing Institute of Astronomical Optics & Technology (NIAOT) completed the acceptance in Nanjing on July 20, 2021 and in xinglong stationon on July 26, 2021. It is expected to be put into scientific observation in 2022.

Mini array telescope as one of the prototype telescopes for "sitian” project, consists of three catadioptric telescopes with large field of view which adopt the same optical system as CSTAR (China Star Antarctic Small Telescope array) with aperture of 300mm, focal ratio of 3 as well as field of view of 5 degree.

It can obtain image with FWHM≤3″ within all field of view and result with stellar speed tracking accuracy RMS≤ 0.3 “/ 10min, fast tracking accuracy RMS ≤ 2”.
