On April 2 5, 2 0 2 1, Beijing Normal University organized a review meeting of the 1.9 m optical telescope design scheme at the Nanjing Institute of Astronomical and Optical Technology (NIAOT). After listening to the report on the overall design, optical design, structure design of the telescope and the report on the control and software design given by NIAOT, the expert group conducted questioning and discussion, then agreed that the design scheme met the requirements of the technical agreement, and the project schedule was reasonable and the risk was controllable. This review marks a new stage in the development of 1.9 m optical telescope, which lays the foundation for the smooth progress of the project. 1.9 m optical telescope is developed by Beijing Normal University, Nanjing Institute of Astronomy and Optical Technology, Xinjiang Observatory and Xinjiang University. 1.9 m optical telescope with ultra-high resolution and ultra-high photometric accuracy is of great help to deep space exploration, the study of gravitational waves, optical counterpart observations of cosmic high-energy neutrinos, near-Earth object monitoring and exoplanet search. The telescope can also be used for teaching, which will be installed at the Mustag station of the Xinjiang Observatory in 2024. It will be installed at the Mustag station of the Xinjiang Observatory, scheduled to be completed by 2024.
