In 2012, a total of 38 proposals from NIAOT were submitted to the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) during the proposal-receiving period，all of them were eligible after the preliminary check。

A total of 11 projects from NIAOT were recently granted fund（approximately 1.5 million U.S.dollar）according to review result released by NSFC。
