On the morning of 3 November 2011，Chinese 28th Antarctic scientific expedition team and the "Snow Dragon" navigating ceremony was held at Tianjin International port。

Du Fujia、Li Zhengyang and Zhang Yi from NIAOT as members of Chinese 28th Antarctic scientific expedition team left for DOME A to complete following tasks:

1): installation and commissioning for first one of AST3(AST3 including 3 Antarctic Survey Telescope)

2): installation and commissioning of PLATO-A(energy support platform) for AST3

3): bring back observation data for CSTAR etc

4): maintenance of existing astronomical instruments at Kunlun station。

In addition, they will also assist in second phase construction of Kunlun Station as well as other expedition work。
