On 30 October 2009，Professor  J. Anthony Tyson（member of　America academic science ) who is director of project for Large Synoptic Survey Telescope and Professor Andreas Albrecht (California University) visited NIAOT at the invitation of Professor Cui(director of NIAOT)。

　GongXuefei（administrator of science and technology ) gave Professor  J. Anthony Tyson an introduction about primary research job and future developing stratagem including LAMOST，pre-research of key technology for Chinese optical/infrared telescope with aperture of 30m as well as Antarctic telescope。

　Follow then，Professor  J. Anthony Tyson visited active optics lab，mirror lab，low temperature lab for Antarctic telescope and lab for detecting extro-planet 。
