On September 14，BaiChunli who is vice-president of CAS  listen to a report by CuiXiangqun who is director of NIAOT and general engineer of LAMOST on recent progress of LAMOST。

   Recent progress of LAMOST :

1):fabrication of submirrors will be completed before the end of this year

2):truss of MA have been smoothly installed

3):telescope will enter into stage for joint adjustment of mechanism-electronics

4):supporting system for seventy hexagonal submirrors with 1.1m in diagonal have entered into stage of overall fabrication，installing and adjusting。

5): position system of 4000 optical fibre on focal plane have started to be fabricated while small focal plane with 250 optical fibre has completed  fabrication for checking and accepting

6): first prototype of spectrograph has started to be installed and adjusted。

7): dome and building will be completed before long

8): Co-focus image produced by three hexagonal submirrors with 1.1M in diagonal for spherical mirror(MB) can concentrate 80% encircled energy within circle with diameter of 0.42(best than requirement of LAMOST)。Accuracy of co-focus is from 0.1 to 0.2 arcseconds(best than requirement of LAMOST)。
