From 13-24 August，Chinese astronomical delegation(more than sixty person including four person from NIAOT ) have been attending 26th General Assembly of IAU in Prague.

   On Special Session 1---astronomical facilities of the next decade，Prof.CuiXiangqun presented a report(Chinese astronomy plans for the future)about progress of LAMOST、FAST、HXMT、SST etc and Chinese Optical/Infrared Extremely Large Telescope.

   On Special Session 7---astronomy in antarctica，Prof.Cui gave a report about Chinese exploration for icecap within DOME A of South Pole and our proposal as well as international cooperation.
