On June 16 2005，first group of MA submirrors (total four)for LAMOST manufactured by NIAOT were smoothly checked and accepted。

  MA (Schmidt corrector plate) is 5.7m long and 4.4m wide which is composed of 24 submirrors.Surface of these submirrors will be changed into required aspherical surface from plane surface in realtime for correcting aberration of optical system by using active optics during observation。Hexagonal submirror is 1.1m in diagonal and 25mm in thickness with characteristic of large aperture，small thickness and high accuracy (PV≤150nm，RMS≤20nm)。

  Specialists group listened to report of research and manufacture，test report meanwhile sampling for test on the spot。Results indicate that four submirrors checked and accepted this time meet technical requirement of the contract。
