On May 18 2005，Preliminary adjustment of mechanism-electronics of alt-azimuth mounting for LAMOST was finished。Preliminary test for tracking accuracy and pointing repeat position accuracy were carried out。

   Results  was as below:

1):tracking accuracy of alt-azimuth less than 0.28 arcs (RMS) compared with signal of coder

2):pointing repeat position accuracy of alt-azimuth less than 1 arcs (RMS) compared with signal of coder
