On March 31 2005,tracking test of CCD auto-guiding star for 'small LAMOST' (namely,alt-azimuth reflecting Schmidt experimental facility with aperture of 1m) was carried out。During trial big bear η as guiding star, error signal was auto-generated every 5 seconds and feed back to servo of mounting for compensation。Analysis of final data indicated that tracking error was 0.45 arcs (RMS) within 3 hours after guiding star。

On April 21 2005,Similar tracking test was finished for other star。Tracking error from the test was 0.40 arcs within 3 hours (RMS)。

Results mentioned above indicated that the tracking-control system was stable and reliable。
