On July 30 2004,fifteen teachers and students from astronomical department of Beijing university paid a visit to NIAOT。Prof.CuiXiangqun who is director of NIAOT gave detailed introduction to them about general situation of the institute。Teachers and students from Beijing university visited active optics lab，friction drive lab，active optics outdoor experimental apparatus and pedestal of M_A for LAMOST project as well as infrared solar telescope with aperture of one meter。NIAOT initiate excellent cooperation relation of institute-department with astronomical department of Beijing university from the visiting。
